ROLE · INDEPENDENT OBSERVATION EVIDENCE
These catalogue measurements and their documentation are evidence/provenance. They are not automatically imported as Core20 clock authority.

COORDINATE CHECK · OPTIONAL FOLLOW-UP

Internal comparison found 385 moon-pair records with unique absolute positions at exactly matching catalogue dates. The remaining 286 pair records lacked both matching positions. Using first-minus-second coordinates, with differential RA projected by cos(mean declination), 384 matched records agree within approximately 0.413 arcsecond in each coordinate.

We observed a coordinate difference between the two tables for Europa / Callisto at catalogue date 2018/05/05.90303. No catalogue correction or Core20 change is being implemented from this observation at this time. The preserved source files and published analysis are available for anyone who wishes to investigate further.

RELEVANCE TO CORE20
Callisto lies outside the Io–Europa–Ganymede Laplace resonance underlying Core20's three-channel Jovian recurrence recovery. This Europa / Callisto catalogue comparison is supplementary evidence and is not an input to the primary recovery contract. The coordinate observation is therefore retained as an optional investigation opportunity; no Core20 change is being implemented from it at this time.

EXPLORATORY RECURRENCE · RESULTS AND DOWNLOADS

V1 scans one frequency per moon pair. V2 fits two frequencies, following the highest-scoring V1 candidate above two catalogue days. Other primary alias branches remain untested.

Highest-scoring V2 fit for each pair
Periods below are fitted components in catalogue days. Displayed digits identify the fit outputs; uncertainty has not been established.

Moon pair Two fitted periods
Io / Europa3.5477 + 1.7675
Io / Ganymede7.1509 + 1.7677
Io / Callisto16.6532 + 2.2834
Europa / Ganymede7.1374 + 3.5501
Europa / Callisto16.6078 + 3.5377
Ganymede / Callisto16.6404 + 7.1310

A component near 1.77 days ranks first in pairs 12 and 13. In pair 14 it ranks second: 16.6621 + 1.7692 days. The approximately 2.28-day alias ranks first there. Daily sampling aliases remain competitive.

Pair 24 sensitivity check: omitting catalogue line 640 changes the leading fit from 16.6078 + 3.5377 to 16.6085 + 3.5378 days. This sensitivity result is retained for optional independent follow-up.

These are exploratory sky-coordinate fits using the catalogue's recorded dates. They remain independent archive analysis and are not imported as Core20 clock authority.

ENTRY 005 · MINTAKA · PHYSICAL TELESCOPE WITNESS

Mintaka · Sep 15 · Companion-star observation

Two Sep-15 telescope recordings securely identify Mintaka through its visible companion and tie the observed stellar field directly to the Epoch-5 physical RAW counter.

CORRECT OBSERVATIONS
05:39:23 · RAW 854,862,790
05:49:19 · RAW 854,880,929

The companion separation measured 89.96 ± 0.68 detector pixels. Companion-defined north and the tracking-off stellar drift were approximately perpendicular, differing by about 90.11°.

Across the two observations the Epoch-5 counter advanced 18,139 RAW in 596 legacy seconds, or approximately 30.4346 RAW/s.

The currently sealed Mintaka recurrence is not being retuned. The approximately 0.1235% indicated rate difference remains an observation to test against later repeated physical rotations.

The earlier Sep-14 candidate was later determined not to be Mintaka and is not retained as qualified Mintaka astronomical evidence. Historical event-stamper qualification records remain separate.

ENTRY 006 · JOVIAN · TELESCOPE CROSS-CHECK

Jupiter moons · Sep 15 · Model supported

Five telescope recordings were compared after an apparent mismatch between the live sky and the public Moons animation.

The initially questioned moon was first mistaken for Callisto and was later correctly identified as Io.

Follow-up inspection found the underlying Jovian model remains consistent with the observation. No Io, Callisto, recurrence, Epoch-5 or Core20 retune is being made.

The source of the confusion was the visual scale of the public cartoon. Its proportions are intended as a quick reference / heads-up display, not as a precision telescope image or astronomical ephemeris renderer.

MODEL · native recurrence / phase / coordinates
CARTOON · human-readable approximate visualization

Public comparison and criticism are welcome. Apparent mismatches are useful prompts to inspect the underlying coordinates rather than assuming either the observer or the model is automatically wrong.

Applying the already-running physical-to-Core20 mapping predicts Day 9 / Phase 61,742 for the first witness and Day 9 / Phase 63,762 for the second: an exact match in both captured frames. No Core20 phase, rate, anchor or service change is made.

MOON GEOMETRY CHECK
The sealed coordinate recurrence predicts the observed left/right ordering and screen-right motion for all four moons. A single Jupiter-relative detector scale gives an RMS residual of 1.6706 px and a maximum absolute residual of 2.6457 px across the eight measured moon positions.

The Sep-20 natural-period coordinate-fold path is retained as a measured residual finding, not used to retune Nature: indexing the older sealed coordinate RAW grid by subtracting the newer exact 1:2:4 periods gives an RMS residual of 8.5036 px and a maximum residual of 15.3975 px, concentrated most strongly at Ganymede. The evidence therefore points to the coordinate lookup layer, not Core20 and not the Jovian natural period ruler.

This entry is an independent physical validation / residual witness. It does not modify Core20, the Epoch-7 counter, the Arduino carrier, the Jovian 1:2:4 period ruler or the sealed source observations.
